Serena Mitnik-Miller is an artist and designer working in California. Mitnik-Miller’s paintings are created by hand using watercolour pigment on paper. The compositions are fashioned by interconnecting patterns of colour and concentric shapes where structures break apart or multiply.

Her artwork usually begins with an impression from the natural environment, where proximity to the ocean and coastal habitats often become symbolic points of reference. Untitled was made in Malibu Canyon. Inspired by the local sandstone, these pieces represent the variation in colours and textures of the rock.
